I can't wait to get in there and make it ours. The yard needs a lot of care and love, but we're excited to do the work and know it is going to look amazing. After years of watching HGTV (and recently DIY Network), I have lots of ideas and am thrilled to bring some of them to fruition! The month between our offer being accepted by the seller and our closing was rough and frustrating, but now we own a little piece of the world! My favorite things about the house:
- The pool!
- The fenced-in backyard so Maverick can run free
- The proximity to Travis' parents' house
- The fireplace
- The hardwood floors throughout the house
- A full-size washer and dryer
I hate packing with a passion, but it looks like we (and by we, I mean I since Travis has to work all weekend) should start packing this weekend. Thankfully it will be the last time for a LONG time!!
